NRCA will offer Fall-protection Trainer Course for Roofing Nov. 11-12 in Elgin, Ill.
Falls remain the leading cause of death and injury in the roofing industry, accounting for at least one-third of all construction fatalities. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Subpart M requires that workers receive fall-protection training from a competent person.
NRCA’s advanced two-day fall-protection trainer course is designed for roofing professionals responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining their company’s fall-protection program. Through an immersive learning experience with an emphasis on practical skills, this course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to teach fall protection effectively and enhance job-site safety.
